The Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) is the county transportation planning commission, responsible for funding and implementing transit and capital projects for a balanced and sustainable transportation system.

Job Description

Join our team and play a vital role supporting liability, workers’ compensation, and subrogation claims. This position provides essential administrative and clerical support while working closely with internal staff, attorneys, and public agencies.

This is a non-exempt position in salary grade 160: Min - $30.33, Mid - $36.23, Max - $42.12. The starting salary will be within this range based on qualifications.

This position will remain open until Friday, February 6, 2026.

What You’ll Do

Maintain and update claims data and records
Prepare reports, correspondence, and case documentation
Serve as a point of contact for claimants, attorneys, and government agencies
Support workers’ compensation and liability claims processes
Ensure strict confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
Assist adjusters and risk management staff with projects and daily operations

What We’re Looking For

High integrity, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills
Experience with administrative support, recordkeeping, and data entry
Ability to communicate professionally with the public and external agencies
Minimum: High school diploma + 6 years of administrative experience (3 years in risk management, insurance, or related field preferred)
Bachelor’s degree is highly desirable
