This position plays an important role in ensuring insurance compliance in City contracts with outside partners and provides high-quality support to departments across the City. The Risk Management Specialist I/II will support all departments in working with the City’s outside partners to ensure they are in compliance with their contractual insurance requirements. This position will also assist with all general Risk Management efforts. This role involves frequent collaboration with internal teams and outside partners to support the City’s operational goals with high-quality service. The ideal candidate will have experience with insurance compliance and related support functions. In addition, this individual is committed to being organized and responsive and will possess strong communication and problem-solving skills, along with attention to detail. A successful candidate will understand the importance of insurance compliance as a support function and its role in assisting departments meet their service objectives and will serve as an insurance compliance subject matter expert.
