Job Description

The HR/Risk Department is looking for a motivated, positive, friendly, customer service focused individual that has a good sense of humor and is results oriented. The ideal candidate will have experience in safety programs and HR compliance, or other relevant experience. The ideal candidate will also possess exceptional communication skills, and the ability to interact with all levels of the organization, in a fast-paced work environment where multiple priorities and a variety of tasks need to be managed effectively. The incumbent in this position must be able to work as part of a team and be motivated and driven to remain up to date on the changing regulations within their assigned functional area, as well as in safety and human resources in general. The Risk & Safety Analyst maintains regulatory compliance, ensures employee safety, and mitigates environmental risk across city operations. The Analyst is responsible for developing and maintaining written safety programs, making formal recommendations related to process improvement, and coordinating citywide implementation and accountability across departments. The Analyst will oversee industrial hygiene, manage third-party consultants and trainers, manage safety inspections and audits, incident management and reporting, and safety program reporting.
