Synopsis/Bios: Chantal Thomas, partner at RTGR Law, is a Certified Specialist and manages the Southern California division of the firm. Lauren Moniz Zalona is a partner at RTGR Law in San Jose. Lauren has extensive experience representing public agencies around the Bay Area. Ms. Thomas and Ms. Zalona will be covering Workers’ Comp 101, including benefits, medical treatment, subrogation and more. They will also provide an update on the newest legislation in California and how it may impact practice and litigation.

Speaker Name:    Diana Pelletier
Synopsis/Bio:  Diana Pelletier is a Certified Disability Management Specialist with over 30 years of experience assisting employers and individuals in the area of return-to-work, workers’ compensation and injury prevention. Her company, Pelletier & Associates, works with many public agencies and private employers, offering training and consultation services. Established in 2005, Pelletier & Associates’ primary goal is to keep people working. In this presentation we will discuss the multiple ways employers are made aware of employees with impairments and how to determine whether an employee is requesting, or needs, a discussion about reasonable accommodations.
