State of the Insurance Market 2021

Session Description: The presenters will provide a report on the current state of the insurance market. The presentation will focus on this year’s renewal expectations, coverage and exposure concerns, as well as other considerations to make in a hard insurance market.

Conor Boughey, Alliant | Conor has been working with California public entity clients since 2006. After graduating from the University of Massachusetts he obtained an Associate of Risk Management designation and dove into risk financing. He works primarily with JPA and City clients as a broker, risk consultant and pool administrator.

Seth Cole, Alliant | Seth began his insurance career in 1995 after graduating from Loyola Marymount University with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance. Seth has the Associate in Risk Management designation and is a Senior Vice President in Alliant’s San Francisco office. Seth has spent the past 20 years providing insurance brokerage, risk management consultation and pool administration services to public entities.
