Presenter: Jason Alcala, City Attorney; Gabrielle Janssens, Assistant City Attorney City of Livermore
In 2019, two bills will remove the confidentiality for certain Peace Officer personnel records and video recordings, and require them to be produced in response to a public records request. This presentation will review the bills, the types of records that must be released, the opportunities to withhold records from production, and recommendations for processing and management of incident reports and public records requests.

Over the next few years, the Millennial generation will become the largest group in the workforce. They will enter the workforce having used technology all their lives and developed patterns and habits around that use of technology. We will discuss practical ways to manage young workers’ comfort and learn Millennial ‘speak’, Millennial ‘habits’ and how understanding the core values of this ‘special’ group can bring all generations together in the workforce.
