SAN JOAQUIN REGIONAL TRANSIT DISTRICT (RTD) HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that sealed Proposals are invited by RTD, a public transit district, herein referred to as RTD, for general liability claims third party administrator services, all in strict conformance with REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL therefore entitled “REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL for GENERAL LIABILITY CLAIMS THIRD PARTY ADMINISTRATOR (TPA) SERVICES,” dated May 24, 2017, (hereinafter referred to as RFP), said RFP being on file in the offices of RTD at 421 East Weber Avenue, Stockton, California 95202.

RTD has implemented an e-bid system.  Interested parties must go to RTD’s “Doing Business” tab at www.sjRTD.com to download, at no cost, the bid documents and/or register as a new vendor.  New vendors must include their contact information, attach their W-9 form, and select the appropriate work codes for faster approval.  Upon approval, vendors will have access to download all solicitation documents at no charge.

Non-Mandatory Pre-Proposal Conference/Teleconference.  A NON-MANDATORY Pre-Proposal conference/teleconference will be held at 10:00 AM, June 12, 2017 at 421 East Weber Avenue, Stockton CA, 95201 or via teleconference by an established call in number.  

No electronic Proposal submittals will be accepted for this Project.  Each Proposal must be contained in a sealed envelope and should be labeled, “REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL FOR GENERAL LIABILITY CLAIMS THIRD PARTY ADMINISTRATOR (TPA) SERVICES, Solicitation No. 2017-R109894-S Attention: Procurement – Contracts” along with Proposer’s name and address.  Proposals must be received at the offices of RTD located at 421 East Weber Avenue, Stockton, California 95202, via hard copy, no later than, 2:00 P.M. on July 5, 2017.  No Proposal may be withdrawn for a period of one hundred twenty (120) days after Proposal opening.

However, proposers shall ensure that DBEs have the opportunity to participate in the performance of this Contract and shall take all necessary and reasonable steps to obtain DBE participation.  Contractor shall not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, disability, or age in the award and performance of subcontracts.

RTD encourages the participation of certified Small Business Enterprises (SBE) on all of its procurement activities.  At all times RTD promotes small business participation, by establishing and maintaining a plan that will assist small business competition, eliminate any obstacles that may prevent their participation as prime contractors or as subcontractors.

The Contract to be entered into pursuant to this NOTICE INVITING PROPOSALS may be subject to a financial assistance Contract between RTD and the United States Department of Transportation.  If this RFP is subject to Federal financial assistance, and for any reason the Federal financial assistance is withdrawn, then and in such event RTD may withdraw this NOTICE INVITING PROPOSALS and/or terminate any Contract entered into in accordance with this RFP.

The successful Proposer, and each of his/her/its subcontractors, shall be required to comply with all local, state, and federal labor laws and regulations.

All Proposers are required to read and completely familiarize themselves with the terms and conditions of the RFP, and to submit all necessary paperwork as required of Proposer as specified in this RFP.

RTD reserves the right to postpone the opening of Proposals, accept or reject any and all Proposals and to waive any informality in any Proposal, all as RTD deems to be in its own best interests and subject to the rules and regulations issued by the Federal transit Administration of the United States Department of Transportation.

Description: NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Pasadena Unified School District (hereinafter referred to as “THE DISTRICT”), is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide TPA and managed care services for THE DISTRICT’s self-insured workers’ compensation program. Interested firms may submit proposals.
No offer of intent should be construed from this legal notice that THE DISTRICT intends to enter into Agreements with any interested companies for Workers’ Compensation Third Party Administration Services unless, in the sole opinion of THE DISTRICT, it is in the best interest of THE DISTRICT to do so.
